5 BOOKS TO READ WHILE TRAVELING

I don’t know about you, but when I am travelling I love to read and my now preferred method of reading is on my Kindle. I have options and sometimes I do buy books at the airport….shit! who am I kidding I always buy reading material when I am traveling, even if I have my kindle. Yeah I know book addict much !

Heres the things about me, I always travel alone and I am an introvert. I won’t spark up conversations with anyone and I really don’t mind people ignoring me while I read.

What bothers me even more than strangers trying to speak to me is when I have a very slow burner book to read when traveling, when the book just makes me keep saying to self “are we there yet”.

During my flights, I love something engaging, something that will have and keep my attention. There is truly something magical about reading a good book and you are so engaged you have lost total track of time.

I lost track of time the other night, had no idea it was 1 am because I was so caught up in the book I was reading.

Yes, losing sleeping is worth it for me, that is why I have concealer.

Oh and I got you when it comes to cost. All these books are less then $10.00USD, your welcome.

THE TIKTOK SENSATION

‘A brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it’ Anna Todd, author of the After series

‘A glorious and touching read, a forever keeper’ USA Today

Will break your heart while filling you with hope’ Sarah Pekkanen, Perfect Neighbors

SOMETIMES THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU IS THE ONE WHO HURTS YOU THE MOST.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up – she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

I do believe this book was already on one of my lists of readers for my fall book pick.

This is a story that deals with domestic abuse, it’s also a love story as well. If you have been in a domestic situation and wonder about other women being there this is your book. Would you cry maybe, would you laugh maybe, but the story is such a story that is being told you wouldn’t want to put this book down. It has been on Amazon’s bestseller list for a while now. Honestly you won’t be disappointed and you won’t want to put it down trust me.

ALL YOUR PERFECT

INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us—whose writing is “emotionally wrenching and utterly original” (Sara Shepard, New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars series)—delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.

Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

Yes I know, I have another one of Miss Collen Hoveer books on here and it’s not the last on this list.

After reading it ends with us I had to get more of Collen Hoveer’s writing. So one night I went on a click binge on Amazon. I ended up buying about 5 books that night on my kindle of course. Like hello not because we love book means we don’t know how to bargain shop.

Back to the book.

If you are looking for a modern romance this is for you.

VERITY

A thriller guaranteed to keep you up all night, with a twist you’ll never forget . . . The TikTok sensation that you’ll recommend to everyone you know.

Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity’s notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn’t expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity’s recollection of the night their family was forever altered.

Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen’s feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife’s words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue loving her . . .

YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER

‘This book is the perfect dose of sweet, hilarious joy. It’s masterful comedy plus tenderness, unique voice plus rich characters. Nicholas! Swoon! We are in love’ bestselling author Christina Lauren

_____________

Meet Naomi and Nicholas: the Perfect Couple.

Their glorious, lavish wedding is coming up in three short months . . . and they are utterly, miserably sick of each other.

Unfortunately, whoever backs out first will end up bearing the brunt of the wedding bill. When Naomi finds out that Nicholas has been feigning contentment too, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of sabotage, pranks, and all-out emotional warfare to see who can annoy the other into surrendering first.

Now that they have nothing to lose, they’re finally being themselves. In fact, they’re having so much fun getting on each other’s nerves that it starts to feel like something else entirely…

Perfect for fans of Helen Hoang’s The Love Quotient and Sally Thorne’s The Hating Game, YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER is laugh-out-loud funny, painfully relatable, and bitingly smart.

A WOMAN’S WORTH

Cutting across class, race, religion, and gender, A Woman’s Worth speaks powerfully and persuasively to a generation in need of healing, and in search of harmony.

With A Woman’s Worth, Marianne Williamson turns her charismatic voice—and the same empowering, spiritually enlightening wisdom that energized her landmark work, A Return to Love— to exploring the crucial role of women in the world today. Drawing deeply and candidly on her own experiences, the author illuminates her thought-provoking positions on such issues as beauty and age, relationships and sex, children and careers, and the reassurance and reassertion of the feminine in a patriarchal society.
